Picked up a winch and a mounting plate from amazon, took a bit longer than it probably should but I am very much a “measure twice, cut once” kind of individual.
We decided to celebrate by paddling down the French Broad River, which is in Western North Carolina. Our route took us behind Biltmore, and was more fun than I had thought it would be.
We headed up to Scott AFB and stopped in Lawrenceburg, KY for the night–which just so happens to be where the Wild Turkey distillery is located. (Who knew?)
We cleared the trails from the pond to Bravo. I was exhausted and disgusting at the end of it, but I’ll be damned if it wasn’t fun.
We have a pond down near the waterfall, and apparently the frogs have been doing unthinkable things down there..
Can’t wait to wire this up and run my RIMS tube with it.
Apparently the March Flowers didn’t get the memo that it’s still February.
I just need to build out the enclosure with the electrical components and we’ll be ready to test fire it. More details to come, very excited!
